GS1 Digital Links

GS1 Digital Link is a standard that connects physical products to digital information and services through a GS1 identifier, such as a GTIN.

The identifier can be embedded in a QR code or NFC tag and, when scanned, directs users to digital content associated with that specific product, including product information, traceability data, instructions, sustainability information, and more.

The main benefit is that the same product identifier can be used to access different information and services while maintaining a standardized and interoperable approach across organizations and systems.
